Our conceptual framework bounds our research study, their relationships and outcomes, presents the research question, relates its importance, discusses the research efforts of others who have worked on related topics, and suggests the data necessary for solving the research question and the manner the data will be gathered, treated, and interpreted. Our focus simply implies a justifiable motive rather than an intent to deceive, that our study broadly evaluates the links and interrelationships between systems of high performance business and economic practices and organizational performance.
To solve an organization’s problem and question, our study identifies the major variables or factors included in the problem and focuses on five relationships: 1) the relationship between strategic vision, purpose, and mission and organization theory practices; 2) the relationship between organization theory practices (e.g., structure and design) and organizational behavior practices; 3) the relationship between organizational behavior practices (e.g., individual and group) and strategic management practices;4) the relationship between strategic management practices(e.g., strategy and strategy execution) and business and economic practices, and finally5) the relationship between the overall business and economic practices, processes, and policies (e.g., structure, leadership, and strategy) and their effects on balanced effectiveness, high performance work systems, organizational failure, success, and financial performance.
